Current Highest Scores in Women's Figure Skating

In international competition, the highest scores are set under the ISU Judging System. The record for the highest total score in women's singles is held by Kamila Valieva, while the short program and free skate records are also tracked by the ISU. These scores reflect technical base value, component marks, and grade of execution.

How Scores Are Calculated

Each element receives a base value plus a grade of execution from -5 to +5. The program component scores evaluate skating skills, transitions, performance, composition, and interpretation. Deductions for falls, costume violations, or time violations are subtracted from the total. The final score is the sum of the short program and free skate totals.

Recent Record Holders and Competitions

Top scores have been achieved at the Grand Prix Final, World Championships, and Olympic Games. Skaters aim for high base value content, clean execution, and strong component marks. The ISU publishes official results and records on its website, which provides up-to-date progression of the highest scores in women's singles.

For detailed results and progression of the highest scores, see the official ISU records at ISU Results.
