Episode count expectations and scenarios
Until an official press release from Netflix and the production company, any episode number should be treated as a rumor. Industry patterns for similar prestige mystery adaptations suggest likely ranges, but these remain speculative until confirmed.
- Limited series path: 6 to 8 episodes for a contained first story
- Serialized path: 10 to 13 episodes for a deeper multi-season adaptation
- Flexible model: Future seasons could expand the story across more episodes as the mystery universe develops
