How Netflix Curates Movie Suggestions
Netflix uses viewing history, ratings, and genre preferences to surface movies suggestions on Netflix. The algorithm updates recommendations as you watch, helping you discover titles that match your taste.
Top Categories to Explore for Better Picks
Browsing by genre, mood, or award-winning collections can improve your results. Popular categories include award winners, cult classics, and hidden gems. You can also filter by language or release decade to narrow your list.
How to Save and Refresh Your Suggestions
Use the "My List" feature to bookmark titles you want to watch later. Regularly rating movies and clearing watched content helps Netflix refresh its suggestions. For more details on how recommendations work, visit Netflix Help Center.
