What Are Brass Hearses
A brass hearse is a funeral vehicle with brass trim, often on a classic or luxury chassis. Historically, brass was used for polished fittings, nameplates, and decorative moldings on hearses during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Who Lives in Brass Hearses
Some enthusiasts, collectors, and funeral industry professionals live or work in brass hearses. They may use them as daily drivers, show vehicles, or for funeral service, especially in regions where vintage hearses are still part of the trade.
Why Brass Hearses Attract Certain Owners
Brass hearses appeal to those who value craftsmanship, history, and distinctive design. The material resists corrosion, and the finish can be restored, making these vehicles durable for long-term use and display.
