Who Is Sid Wilson
Sid Wilson is an American musician best known as the turntablist and keyboardist for the nu metal band Slipknot. He joined the band in 1998 and is recognized for his energetic stage presence and experimental sound design.
Sid Wilson Hands Six Fingers
Sid Wilson has six fingers on his left hand, a physical trait he has discussed in interviews and shown in live performances. The extra digit is a congenital variation commonly referred to as polydactyly.
Polydactyly is one of the most common congenital hand differences and can affect one or both hands. It occurs during early fetal development when extra fingers form alongside the usual five digits.
Impact on His Music Career
Wilson has adapted his turntablism and keyboard techniques to accommodate his hand structure. He uses custom setups and modified gear to maintain his performance style in Slipknot and solo projects.
