Current Residents of Kensington Palace Gardens
Kensington Palace Gardens is one of the most prestigious private streets in London. It is home to members of the British royal family and their households, including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The palace itself serves as a royal residence and working office for several members of the royal family.
Who Lives in the Palace and Grounds
The official residents include senior working royals and their immediate families. The grounds also house staff, security personnel, and household employees who support the daily operations of the palace. Public access to the private gardens is limited, with most areas reserved for official use.
History and Access to the Gardens
The gardens have been part of the royal estate for centuries and are listed as historic parks and gardens. While the private gardens are not open to the public, Kensington Palace offers guided tours of selected state rooms and gardens during the season. For details on opening times and tickets, visit the official Royal Collection Trust page.
