Record Holder and Size
The world's largest jack o lantern was carved from a pumpkin that set an official record for weight and size. The massive gourd was grown to exceed typical competition entries and was carved by a team following strict guidelines for a single pumpkin lantern.
Where It Was Displayed
The record attempt was staged at a public event known for large pumpkin displays and weigh-offs. Organizers documented the carving and the final illuminated structure for verification. Details were later shared through official event channels and pumpkin record databases.
Why It Matters
Large pumpkin records attract media coverage and highlight advances in growing techniques. The event also draws visitors, supports local agriculture, and encourages participation in seasonal traditions. Official records help standardize measurements and ensure fair comparisons across years.
